The Thruxton Ace will go on sale from December and emphasises Triumph’s association with the legendary Ace Café. The Ace Café rose to fame in the early 60’s becoming a popular bikers hang-out venue and was instrumental in developing the race café culture during that era. Over this week-end (12-14 September) the Ace Café will host the unveil of this new model. This climaxes when 25,000 café racer fans on Sunday, partake in the annual Brighton Burn Up celebrations, with a mass ride out starting at the Ace Café on London’s North Circular and descending onto Brighton’s sea front. The new Thruxton Ace shares the same chassis and engine of the established Thruxton. Distinguishing features will be: Unique paint scheme with main colour being Pure White with jet black chequers. Side panels, tank and tail section feature Ace Café logos Sculpted Oxblood custom seat Detachable seat hump Authentic bar end mirrors Handlebar plaque Around 100 only will be commissioned for the UK market and early indications suggest an estimated on the road price of around £8200.
