STOP THE EVICTION OF Jahnice & children. Thursday at 10:30 7.11.13 Priory Mansions, 10-12 Priory Park Road, Kilburn, NW6 7UH kilburntimes.co.uk/news/homeless_pregnant_woman_with_two_children_vows_to_fight_eviction_plans_by_brent_council_1_2967390 Please read Jahnices call-out below. Brent Housing Action, Housing 4 All and Unite Community are supporting this brave woman, determined to defend her familys rights and not be thrown onto the streets: We all need to make a stand and fight for what is right ,for our family and other familys . It is time for our voice to be heard . We will not stand down but stand up for whats right. My name is Miss Jahnice Marshall Ive been caring for 2 of my friends children for the past 4 years and became homeless at the end of April. I have been in a hostel for 6 months and a bit I am 6 months pregnant and at this point of time the housing has discharged their duty and I have till Thursday morning to leave the hostel at noon. they had offered me one property in slough and was taken back due to disrepairs then they offed us 3 places but due to fear of violence I declined the offers. then they had offered me Birmingham I declined the offer due to the fact that my oldest has mental health and is reviving counselling at school and with a family team counselling team and is in her last year of her GCSE s. not only that I am 6 months into my pregnancy and we have no support unit within that area. the school the children attend is all supporting this situation with the children. this has become so stressful and we refuses to leave the hostel on Thursday and will lock and barricade our selfs in. we refuse to leave and become homeless in the streets. we was born in London and razed in London and have a great network surrounding us as a family unit and refuse to be treated in this way. I have given the housing all the info they requested, from doctors notes stressing the mental health issues and stressing my pregnancy due to the fact Ive had problems in the past. also supporting letters from the school and my daughter s councillor stressing the key point s to the housing. I believe this has been unfair to me and my family and feel as the housing had ignored the real issue and jumped over the fear of violence and the mental health and my daughters schooling and the fact that I am a young lady of 27 and is more then half way throw my pregnancy. this has coursed me to be in and out of hospital with high blood pressure and a heap of stress throw out my pregnancy. I need all the support as posable. we are going to be protesting to when the housing deals with this case in the right manner. I have seen them kick out a family and have them removed by police. this is wrong please join us to support this situation in order to solve and fight for what is right. thanks so much I hope that we can come together and raze the issues of what the housing is doing to familys thanks so much. Miss Jahnice Marshall
