STORIES NEEDED A Ugandan film producer is in need of stories (long or short) that will be adapted to screenplays for film. Stories should have a minimum of literary qualities that include, but not limited to: a) coherence, b) intensity of effect – vivid, striking and emotionally engaging, c) complexity – able to engage the audience’s interest on many levels and d) originality – inspired by fresh, unfamiliar conventions and distinctive from an aesthetic standpoint. Through the adaption process, many elements could be changed by the screenwriter to conform to the screenplay structure of storytelling. Once adapted, the writer will be credited in the film as the author and the raw material will be paid for at a negotiated price.
