STORM CONDITIONS UPDATE FOR LOS ALAMOS COUNTY – 1:00pm: FLOODING CONDITIONS UPDATE – 1:00pm: Many residents have been calling 311 & LAPD regarding flooding in their homes. For sandbags and/or assistance, please review the following: • IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY: Please call 911, and LAPD will dispatch LAFD to help mitigate the situation. • IF IT IS ONLY PRECAUTIONARY: Los Alamos County is providing sand bags for residents at the Pajarito Cliffs Site, 101 Camino Entrada, just inside the gate at the Sand Barn. Signs are posted to help direct people. If you have any questions, please call 662-8113 for more information. Most roads have significant amounts of standing water throughout the County. Please avoid travel if at all possible. ROAD CONDITIONS UPDATE – 1:00pm: Santa Fe Fire Dept. is reporting a downed power line on NM502 .25 miles from Totavi. The road has been closed in both directions and SFFD is on the scene. The downed line is a KSL line. NM Roads is reporting (11:34am) State New Mexico 4 northbound and southbound from mile marker 5 to mile marker 46 to have flooding and debris. (NM 4, mile marker 5 -46 from north of San Ysidro to the Los Alamos County Line). Travel is discouraged at this time. All roads in Los Alamos County are OPEN. Los Alamos County crews will continue to deal with all flooding and road issues by priority. NMDOT also has crews on site to clear any rock fall on Main Hill Road. Please be patient as we work through the issues and avoid travel if possible. WEATHER CONDITIONS UPDATE – 11:08am: The National Weather Service has extended the FLASH FLOOD warning for Los Alamos County to 5:00pm. Avoid flood areas and canyons. **NOTICE**: NOAA mistakenly released a report that Los Alamos County has some evacuations in process. THIS IS INCORRECT. Los Alamos County has no evacuation orders in process at this time.
