**STORM UPDATE: Last night’s storms have negatively impacted both Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Here is our current status: - Track assessments are currently being made by Cuyahoga Valley National Park. (CVNP owns the tracks we operate on.) - Our Fitzwater Maintenance Yard is closed due to high water. - Our Park Scenic Excursion Trains for May 16, 17 and 18 are still scheduled … but will operate only between Rockside and Peninsula. - We will re-evaluate our operational status again on Wednesday (05/14/14) in light of the weather forecast for more rain tonight. - Our Day Out With Thomas event is still scheduled as planned starting Saturday morning.
