STORY OF MR Z, TENNIS PLAYER (FICTION) Z was a good sports person in school. He was fond of Tennis, but not very good at it. His style was unimpressive & graceless. When he came to college he decided to pursue Tennis seriously. His coach in the Tennis Academy advised him to shift to another sport because of his unimpressive style & the fact that there were two players much more talented than him in his Academy. Z was unperturbed by the sane advice offered by his coach, which he did not take for two reasons: 1 He had tremendous self belief. 2 He was very fit & was convinced that he could overcome his shortcomings by sheer hard work. Z went on to become a great Tennis player. Lessons A Self belief & hard work are great keys to success in all endeavors of life. B Advice given even by experts has a serious limitation that it is based on the past general experience of the expert which fails to consider the uniqueness of the subject individual.
