STORYTIME! On my last nights stay in Paris (I was there early in Oct) I had no couch-surfers come through, so I decided to camp out overnight on the streets (good to be a bum once in a while ;) ). My night ended up being full of adventure, and the biggest highlight was bumping into Steve and Anthon - two incroyable musicians who had just recorded their first album. They were camping out in the same square after a busy night of karaoke because the metro is closed after 2am. It was a match made in heaven - they were *loudly* singing acapellas and I had my acoustic guitar and shakers in tow - anyone that knows me knows how much I am drawn to good music - so naturally I was drawn to their energy and we ended up spending a great portion of the night jamming together (but mostly I was just captivated by their energy and voices and enjoyed simply listening). I want to send my sincerest thanks to them both for making my last night in Paris so memorable!
