STRABANE CHRISTMAS SWITCH ON.... Matthew Wolfenden - better known as Emmerdales David Metcalfe, and winner of the seventh series of Dancing on Ice will be arriving in Strabane to help Santa switch on the towns lights this evening... The event will also include the switch on of the spectacular display of new Christmas Lights for Strabane Town Centre. Q102 will broadcast live from the town centre with local band The Brambles starring Terri OReilly from The Voice of Ireland & Conor Scott from The Voice. Santa Claus will be travelling into the town at 4pm in his unique transport escorted by his little helpers and fun characters. Please note there will be traffic disruptions around the Town Centre during the afternoons proceedings. A section of Railway Street will be closed from 1.00pm until approximately 5.30pm, with a short delay on Market Street and Abercorn Square during Santas procession.
