STRAFFORD COUNTY -- Strafford County is participating in the federal Summer Food Service Program to provide free breakfast and lunch to all children ages 0 to 18 (babies and toddlers included). The sites in Somersworth are: Somersworth Youth Connection, 7 Memorial Drive Meals will be served weekdays from June 24 to July 25; closed July 4. Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. (Lunch is not served on Fridays) Somersworth Recreation Noble, 40 Noble Pine Street, Somersworth Meals will be served weekdays from June 24 to Aug. 16; closed July 4. Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. (Monday through Friday) Lunch: 12:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday only) Somersworth Recreation Millennium, 99 Stackpole Road, Somersworth Meals will be served weekdays from June 24 to Aug. 16; closed July 4. Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. (Monday - Friday) Lunch: 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday only) Idlehurst School, 46 Stackpole Road Meals will be served Monday through Wednesday from June 24 to July 26; closed July 4. Breakfast: 8:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon The Summer Food Service Program is a USDA-funded program for youth ages 18 and under during the summer months when they no longer have access to free/reduced priced meals at school.
