STRENGTH FOR TODAY (DECIDE TO DECIDE) When we go to the Lord in prayer we usually do so with the idea that God can do any and everything. We pray very good sounding and religious prayers. Father, bless me financially, touch me with your healing power and heal me of this malaria or typhoid fever, or Father help me walk in love towards sis x. Your new year resolution was to spend more time with the lord on a daily basis and yet you find that you can not even get out of bed early enough to get to the office on time not to talk of having time to pray… How do you get out of that circle of praying for something or wanting something and you do not see it come to pass in your life? Josh 24:14-15 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. KJV When a quality decision is made to obey the word of God, no tactic of the enemy will be able to stop you. If you have decided to be blessed financially, then when an opportunity to tithe or give offering comes your way, you will not run away from it. If you are praying for a physical healing and you know the cause of the illness e. g mosquito bites or dirty water, you will make a quality decision to boil your water even as you are praying for a healing in your body. A quality decision is saying come hell or high water, nothing is going to stop me from doing what I have to do. With that type of decision you actually give the Holy Spirit the chance to move on your behalf with the power of God. He needs you to make that decision. Choose you this day whom you will serve, choose blessings or curses. Make a quality decision to do the word of God and nothing will stop you from seeing the manifestation of His word in your life. Confession: I am a chaser of God and a doer of His word. Whatever His word says to do is what I have decided to be doing, no matter what it will cost me.
