STRENGTH FOR TODAY (“LORD, INCREASE ME!”) In Proverbs 3:9-10 - TopicsExpress

STRENGTH FOR TODAY (“LORD, INCREASE ME!”) In Proverbs 3:9-10 it says,” Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty and they presses shall burst out with new wine.” Everybody wants to be blessed and to increase financially. When most brethren stand praying all they are doing is saying is, “Lord, bless me.” They do not try to find out if there is a Principle they have not obeyed. The Lord placed guidelines in place for all His promises in the Word and if we follow them we are sure to reap the benefits. For one who wants to increase financially he ought not to forget the principle of tithing. It is clearly stated in the Bible that when you honor the Lord with your tithe and with all that you have He will cause the increase you are looking for to show up in your life. If you do not pay your tithes consistently, you will not reap the reward of the tither. The stingy man will not be blessed the way the Lord will want him to be. It says your barn will be filled with plenty and your presses burst out with new wine. In the book of Malachi it says the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing you cannot contain. Consistent tithing will cause unprecedented increase in your finances. Be a tither and the lord will bless you beyond your imagination. Confession: I am the generation of those who honour the Lord in tithes and offerings. The windows of heaven are opened unto me and the devourer is rebuked for my sake. I am so blessed with my generation that we are a great blessing to all around us. We honour Him, therefore, we are honoured by the Lord. Scripture Reading: Malachi 3: 8 – 12
