STRESS POINTS Am aware that everyday life is filled with challenges that continually tests your determination and trust in God. Have you found yourself wondering lately if the condition of this world can get any worse? Whether faced with a barrage of news from senseless tribal killings, kidnappings, threat of terrorism or with simple every day challenges, the strength of your character is sure to be continually tested on a regular basis. Why so? You are thinking.. You must remember that God tests your heart and mind, not your works. How is steel tested? Pressure is applied to see if it would hold up against any stress level. Will it perform according to the manufacturers design? Will it stand up to the quality standard? Well, God does the same with you!! He created You and sometimes passes you through tests - to strengthen you for the trials of the world you are in. What you can do is not to lose faith but ask God to give you the grace, the ability, to pass all your tests! To maintain your faith, no matter what, that God is in control! Pray: 1. Thank You, Father that no matter what is happening around me, Your grace will strengthen me. 2. Enable me, O Lord, not to keep my eyes on the challenges but on Your unshakeable love for me.
