STRIKE THE METAL WHILST ITS HOT......... When i was at Junior Secondary school prior to my academic transition to Wa Senior secondary School, i had a role model and a mentor who still remains so for so many reasons.He might not know he really influenced my appetite for attempting to speak and write good English and so are many others.He was simply a teacher, from that humble and modest profession,he progressed steadily to UG. whilst there he frequents wa almost every weekend to keep pace with happenings there confirming his immeasurable love for our small Region.That swelled my admiration for him.After completing Legon, he revisited that same University to pursue LLB.A ticklish field of study yet he visited home like a commercial bus driver plying that stretch.Others spoke ill of him that he would bow out of the program because he does not stay to learn,well the results were glaring for all to see.Before he studied law,he had by then transformed aguebly wa Islamic Senior High from an academic comatoz and fledgling state to an active one,that was so attractive to all who wished to progress acadamically. As i sat at a bus terminal in Tamale to travel to catch any available bus to Wa,i heard perhaps some three former students of that school nostalgically rekindle their love and lustfor his days in that school, they confessed that if he remained there till date, that school could boast of continual excellence (i told myself that that man was gone for good into a higher level)he left that stage (school) when the applause was louder-a mark of a good leader.He was a sports man too(i new very little about that so i will not dare) and loves fashion, Religiously liberal. He was involved in every positive move toward the development of wa not from the beginning but from the middle till date.He is among my top 5 most influencial youth in the Region.ladies and Gentlemen the person i eves dropped been spoken about at wa station in Tamale was Saeed Abdul Shakur.#Fact#
