STRIKERS ON TARGET IN DEV SQUAD VICTORY Strikers Lukas Jutkiewicz and Sam Vokes were both on target as a strong Clarets side defeated Bradford 3-0 in a friendly. The duo were appearing for the Development Squad in a behind-closed doors game at Manchester City’s former Carrington training ground. And Vokes maintained his goalscoring return to action with the opener after just 11 minutes, heading in Luke O’Neill’s delivery. Striker partner Jutkiewicz then doubled the lead eight minutes before the break, rounding the keeper after pouncing on a bad back pass. And the former Middlesbrough hitman completed the scoring 20 minutes into the second half, tapping home after Vokes. Initial shot was tipped onto the post.
