STRONG ROOTS! Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is (Ephesians 3:17-18). Paul desires spiritual growth in each of us. He desires for us to know the love of God and stay planted, rooted and grounded in His love NO MATTER what we are faced with. We must mature in Christ in order to endure this journey called life. We must apply what we have been taught. Apply the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), understand each part and its duty in order to utillize them effectively in times of battle. Renew our minds daily (Romans 12:2). Die to our flesh (Romans 8:13) turn away from sin by changing our thoughts and habits. Mistakes will be made but little by little as we start to recognize these habits as sin and turn away from them, we will begin to die to our old selves and become new creatures in Christ. Establish strong roots in the Word of God. May His love for you serve as a catalyst in your journey of change, being rooted and grounded in Him. Start your journey today!
