Strong Winds came home a length in front of Cash For Steel who beat him last time at Newton (this may be sweet revenge). Hadden rode a patient race and asked Strong Winds to move up into second with a circuit to run and held that position until the home bend, he then smoothly took it up going into the second last and ran straight and true right up to the line!
