STRONG WORDS — from former ConCom Administrator and attorney Dirk Roggeveen about last nights BOS discussion of the Sconset Beach erosion project: SBPF is driving this train, and the Town is just going along for the ride. SBPF announced it would be filing for emergency certification for the vegetative planting of the upper bank, suggesting that the delay is the fault of others, despite the fact that were going on three months since they filed for and ultimately received approval to install geotubes due to an emergency, and despite the fact that every delay has been due to SBPFs and the Towns request. And the Towns DPW Director stating that, just today, they were discussing getting a survey plan of the project as built, even though the law requires it, and even though the ConCom told the Town it needed it four weeks ago. The whole process has become an amalgam of lies and deceit.
