STUDENT BULLETIN March 11, 2014 This Week: Wednesday-Ski Day. School dismisses @ 1:00 p.m. Thursday----No School. Friday-------No School. Saturday----Lamb & Hog Fitting and Showing Clinic @ Billings. Beginning TODAY, the office will not allow students to go out to their vehicles once school has begun. Be prepared and bring all books, shoes, etc. into the building before school begins. If you choose to go to your vehicle, you will be assigned an unexcused tardy. Sign-up sheet for all students grades 5-12 interested in participating in Track this year. Driver’s Ed Sign-Up Sheet on the office counter. Report covers in the office, free for the taking. Opening for Track Coach . Contact Mr. Arnold or Mr. Kleinsasser if interested. After School Detention next Tuesday March 11, in Mrs. Pellant’s room: All students must bring a book or homework. No electronics will be allowed. If you do not show up for after school detention your time will double (2 hours becomes 4, etc.). April 23rd, all Juniors will be administered the ACT Test here at school. It’s the second year in a row that the State of Montana has paid for all Junior students to take the ACT. Any student refusing to follow any staff or teacher directive will result in one day of ISS. Anyone wearing a hat to school needs to put it in their locker during the school day. If you choose to pack it around during the school day, even if you are not wearing it, it will be confiscated. The pop machines will be off during the school day. Students are not allowed to go down by the river behind the school. Any student found by the river, no matter what age they are, will lose their privilege to leave school grounds. Students who are 18 or older who choose to sign themselves out for any reason, other than a doctor or dentist appointment or unless their parent calls with a valid reason, will result in an unexcused absence that cannot be made up. A reminder to students, no drinks other than water allowed in the classrooms or hallways during the day, except before school and during the lunch hour. If you are seen with any drink other than water, it will be confiscated and not given back. Every Friday is Red & White/Wrangler Day. Everyone is encouraged to wear Red & White and/or Wrangler apparel. Just a reminder: No cell phones on your person from 8:15 a.m. to 3:34 p.m. If you are caught using them during the school day, it is an automatic discipline referral. Grace Bible Youth Group: Grades 9-12 Sundays 5:30-7:00 p.m.; Grades 7 & 8 Wednesday’s 3:45-5:15 p.m. Lunch: Corn Dogs & Macaroni & Cheese Tomorrow: Sack Lunches FF: More people in China speak English than in the United States.
