STUDENT LOANS: Provinces, all provinces, need to begin to forgive a portion of loans, amount depending on economic status and employment over a 10 year period, with the end result that all student loans are paid off at the end of that 10 year period. By year 10, no debt to the post secondary student. We know that the province and Canada will reap the rewards. If coordinated, the feds pay as do provinces. If working in another province, that province pays the educating provinces portion. As the feds benefit the most, from employment in any province, the feds should be on the hook for more than 50% of the students debt. This would be logical and reasonable, for it is the provinces and the federal government who receive the benefits from education and employment through various forms of taxation. This is TRUE investment in education. 4 mins · Edited · Like
