STUDY ABROAD FAIR Thursday, October 30 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. LBJSC Ballroom Texas State University is a proud signatory to Generation Study Abroad, a national campaign to significantly increase the number of students studying and learning abroad. We have committed to increasing the number of Texas States students studying abroad by 50 percent over the next five years. This commitment reflects the university’s emphasis on internationalization and our desire to ensure that all students have the opportunity to take part in an international experience. Representatives of different programs will be providing information to those interested in studying, teaching, working and/or researching abroad. The fair includes a variety of options for international experiences, including faculty-led study abroad programs, internship and service learning opportunities, and semester exchange programs, among others. Texas State students have to opportunity to apply for the International Education Fee Scholarship (IEFS). The funding available for the upcoming academic year is approximately $300,000.
