STUDY ABROAD NOTICE: VCU Education Abroad is holding a Gilman Scholarship Writing Workshop for students interested in applying to the Gilman International Scholarship. The workshop will be held on Friday, January 30, 12pm -2pm in the Commons Alumni Board Room. The Gilman scholarship offers awards for undergraduate students with limited financial means to pursue study abroad. The workshop will provide tips for writing competitive essays. Students who receive a federal Pell grant are encouraged to attend the workshop. For more information about the Gilman, please visit iie.org/programs/gilman-scholarship-program . Additionally, the Global Education Office (GEO) is pleased to announce the Education Abroad Scholarship Competition for VCU students interested in studying abroad during the summer 2015, fall 2015. or academic year 2015/2016.
