Electrical Foreman one of the major Gulf oil producers, is currently seeking a select number of Electrical Foremen for its Operations Department based at the company"s Field/Desert locations. Applications are welcomed from accomplished, highly motivated technicians for the following vacancy. Basic Function: Participates in installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment associated with the assigned field operations. Function and Responsibilities:  Observes safe work practices within field and workshop areas and ensures that applicable safety procedures and regulations are observed by the personnel under his jurisdiction.  Ensures that all installation and repair works are carried out according to the applicable standards and codes of practice of which all personnel should be aware.  Undertakes the maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of electric and electronic equipment and systems including but not limited to; all power generation units, high voltage transmission systems, voltage distribution systems and their associated switchgears, power transformers, control equipment and protection devices various motor drives including very high horsepower units, control and monitoring systems, UPS systems , airfield lighting systems and commercial and domestic electrical systems and equipment.  Liaises with supervisory staff in order to solve complex problems.  Assist in the maintenance of files and records pertaining to the installed equipment.  5- 10 Years minimum of knowledge and experience in the following fields: Installation of cable trays, cable laying, cable connection, cable ends,Installation of LV & MV switchboards Installation of HV equipment Circuit breakers, Disconnecting switches, Surge arresters. Installation of equipment such as switchyard, transformers, busbars, circuit breaker  We are looking for an electrical erection Formen in charge of the BOP for the following starting date ASAP.  Direct responsibility for the management of the erection of the auxiliaries Electrical equipment called Balance of Plant (BOP) in Oil & Gas Plants.  The BOP Erection Formen is responsible for the following main assignments involving the installation of all BOP equipment: Manage the erection work either in collaboration with the Erection Company or direct labour hiring.  Direct the resources implemented on the site in regards to technical assistance and supervision of the erection company in the following areas: - Management of equipment arrivals, - Management of storage and warehouse entrances/exits.  Document management including processing of Non conformity Report, Site modifications, Quality control, Time schedule monitoring.  Programming the work and monitoring the time schedule.  Update the erection planning in line with the objectives of the general work planning .  Co-ordinate the objectives and verify the erection company"s detailed planning,  verify the coherence of the resources implemented by the company in regards to programmed activities, evaluation of work progress,  In collaboration with the concerned supervisors, treatment of any interface or work sequences problems appearing during work operations. Requirements: Technical diploma and minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in electrical environment. Exercise an adequate degree of analytical judgment in matters pertaining to fault finding, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
