If you looked closer, you would have noticed the awkward contortions exploding across my face; my heart was shouting through my twitching cheeks, trying to tell you stay. In the 2 minutes before I lost you, anxiety spread like butter across my brows. You reach for the last kaya toast and I seize my final glimpse of you.
