SUCCESS Story – Sunday. The ACN and Foodbank partnership. As was announced to thousands of ACN Independent Business Owners in Melbourne last week, ACN has followed the incredible success of our partnership in the United States with the Will Play For Food Foundation by partnering with the Aussie based similar charity organization Foodbank Australia. Foodbank Australia is a fantastic initiative who distribute over 28 MILLION meals to people in need annually. With 1 in every 10 Australians (and half of these are children) requiring assistance for this very basic of human rights that most of us take for granted - the right to eat healthy food and nutritious meals, it is a country-wide problem that many people are simply unaware of in this because it is something that does not receive much in the way of publicity and/or notification. Fortunately, we at ACN are proudly doing something about fixing this most terrible situation. Every time YOU – an ACN essential services customer pays their ACN essential service bill, a portion of that bill will be passed directly onto Foodbank Australia who will use this extra funding to further source, transport, prepare and provide healthy food and meals to those in need.
