SUCCESS THROUGH STRENGTH “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 2) The will of God for us is to succeed in every area of life. Success is the birthright of all children of God. Christians have been given power and grace to adopt the rich principles in The Scripture that will lead to greater achievement. As you implement these principles, you will set the stage for productive, spiritual and academic success. The following are proven principles for success 1) Repent of every known sin by calling on the Lord for mercy and pardon; (2) Forget past shortcoming and failures. Fill your life with anticipation. (3) Set goals for your success because you will only become as great and as happy as your success. (4) Desire success. (5) Discipline yourself by putting your body under control and avoid all habits and attitudes that hinder success (6) Study and work hard. (7) Claim and rest on God’s promises for success. (8) Plan and manage your time well. (9) Adopt good study techniques like SQ3R: (survey, Question, Read, Review and Recite). (10) Choose a good location for your daily reading. Academic success brings progress, honour and fame to an individual and you will be useful to God and a channel of blessing to others.
