SUFFERING Everyone who reads the bible, whether regularly or only occasionally, must have noticed the important role suffering plays in it. We cannot miss the sufferings of the people of Israel, of the prophets, of Jesus Christ himself and of the apostle. The subject is so common that we get the impression that the Christians life cannot be separated from suffering. But what is even more astonishing is that suffering and Joy are so often mentioned together that it seems that Joy flows naturally from suffering. In Isaiah 25:6 - 9, the prophets announced that, after a time of testing, God will wipe away the tears from the faces of his people and remove their disgrace. Have a blessed day all.
