SULLY IS SAFE with Lovebugs Rescue! An urgent plea yesterday from the OC Animal Care that this adorable Wheaten Terrier mix tested PARVO positive. We all know what that means - Sully only had hours to be rescued before he was euthanized because PARVO is very contagious. We are one of the few rescues that pull PARVO - and its a good thing we came to the rescue because no one else did. Sully is now receiving 24 hr round the clock supportive care so he can fight this virus (IV fluids, medication, bloodwork). As of this morning, he was stable but not eating on his own. This our 13th PARVO dog pulled from OC Animal Care and not our last. We are committed to continuing to save these dogs, but we need your help! We expect Sullys costs to range from $1,200 - $1,500.
