SUMMARY Of POLICE ACTIVITIES - 12/08/2013 About 1pm on Sunday the 11th of August, 2013 Oxley Highway Patrol Police will allege they detected a 50 year old Tamworth man riding Yamaha Motorcycle on the New England Highway, Moonbi travelling at 175km/h in a 100km zone. The man was issued with a $2197 fine for speeding at more than 45km/h. His driving licence was suspended and registration plates confiscated. About 10.40pm on Sunday the 11th of August, 2013 Gunnedah Police arrested a 40 year old Gunnedah man after an alleged Domestic Violence Incident in Bloomfield Street, Gunnedah. Police charged the man with Stalk/Intimidate intend fear physical harm, 2 x Use carriage service to menace/harass/offend and Armed with intent to commit an indictable offence. He was refused bail and will appear in Tamworth Local Court on the 12th of August, 2013. Police also seized a Machete and an Axe that they will allege were meant to be used in the Domestic Violence Incident. Sgt BURKE Tamworth Police
