SUMMER DIARY. Whilst the little ones enjoy some dressing up time I can update! No topic of the week for a while, instead a diary update to show how this busy mum and childminder finds free, low cost and then sometimes more costly activities for the summer for a variety of ages. This weekend with a 13 and 10 year old who had already broken up, and a 7 year old who has a few more days to go! Musical theatre show, spent the day rehearsing and then performing; DAY 1 Summer show Day 2, same age range plus another 13 year old. Sleep over for older ones (Free), visit to family fun day in Doncaster (Free other than fuel) 8 year old performed at Bedford River Festival (free) Day 3, age range from 2 years to 13 years. Crazy hat week, all dressing up hats (about 30!), PHSE about the sun, keeping safe, appropriate weather clothes. (FREE) Older ones off to builders merchants after burst water tank (FREE and they said they had a fab time! Not sure how or why but it was a freebie and kept older ones happy looking for plumbing equipment!) After schoolers to Mc Ds for dinner out as kitchen unsuitable, extra hour sepnt there chatting and playing with happy meal toys! 13 year oldsleepover at nanas.10 and 7 year old - attacking old copper cylinder! Crazy few hours starting to get the insulation off (FREE - who would have thought!) Day 4 (Today) age range 2 years - 12 years. Perfume making (free, kit bought for a birthday pressie) Popcorn making (Only the cost of the pop corn) Movie dy (the cost of my digital package anyway - so FREE) Eldest on a work day with nana to her place of work.
