SUMMER GREETINGS FROM THE CASTING OFFICE! Break out the SPF, snorkel gear and hammocks… Here is the latest “summer scoop” at STILETTO: In Rehearsal News… The talented Noordam cast just finished rehearsals and are now headed to Venice, Italy. This month, the Maasdam cast will start rehearsals. We will welcome the Statendam and the inaugural Zaandam “TOZ” casts in August. In September the Nieuw Amsterdam cast will arrive for rehearsals. Whew…it’s a busy summer in the studios! In Audition News… Jodie and I have had an amazing year of auditions thus far! Most recently, we traveled to Williamsburg, VA and Hershey, PA and the talent really turned out! Rounding out our summer…we have auditions here in Los Angeles (August 10) and then we head to Boulder, CO (September 6), Minneapolis, MN (September 13), Munich, Germany (September 30) and a final stop in London, England (October 2)! In Other News… We’d like to take a moment to give a HUGE shout out to a few of our STILETTO family members! First… CONGRATS to Patti Colombo and John Charron on their upcoming production of CAN CAN. The production will start with performances at the famed Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey before heading to Broadway. STILETTO veterans, Molly Tynes, Michael McArthur, and Peter Nelson have been cast in the fabulous production. Second… A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the following STILETTO veterans: Sasha Wareham who is currently in MAMMA MIA on the West End. Brandt Martinez is performing in ALADDIN on Broadway. Chip Abbott, Mark Roland, Patrick Moran and Leigh Scheffler are currently on tour with JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Patti Lohr was just recently cast in the tour of KINKY BOOTS. Patrick Shaw just signed on for the tour of JEKYLL AND HYDE. Kevin Raponey and Chris Woods are performing in the tour of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT!
