SUNDAY 11TH MAY RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14: 34 Righteousness guarantees elevation. You cannot reject God without rejecting good. Godlessness opens the way for backwardness. The triumphing of the wicked is short and the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment (Job 18: 5), but the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree (Psalms 92: 12). You only have just one choice to make; Righteousness or wickedness! There is no middle point between them, leading to forwardness or backwardness respectively. Sin is a reproach, a minus, a defect to anybody. Sin is a limitation. It is a reduction. Those who were lifted by righteousness, but who suddenly degenerated into godlessness, hoping to maintain their divine lifting, always have their lives immersed in one crisis after another. Whatever you did that elevated you in God, that is what you must keep doing to maintain your lifting. Remember that righteousness exalts, but sin demotes. WORD OF PRAYER:- Help me dear Lord to maintain a righteous living, that I may experience lifting on every side, in Jesus’ name Amen. QUOTE:- You cannot reject God and embrace good.
