SUNDAY 1ST JUNE THERE IS HOPE “Weeping may endure for a night - TopicsExpress

SUNDAY 1ST JUNE THERE IS HOPE “Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30: 5 There are many things in life that bring despair, unhappiness and sadness. This may be caused by the loss of something precious like health or treasure, or it may be as a result of the loss of a very dear one. Gloom may also come as a result of failure in life and dashed expectations. We may become sad because of promises broken and dreams unfulfilled. But we need not remain in despair because there is hope for anyone who can look in the mirror and laugh at what he sees. “There is hope in the end,” says the Lord in Jeremiah 31: 17. This hope is the anchor of the soul, the stimulus to action and the incentive for achievement. The fears of the present should not cancel the prospects of tomorrow. The sorrows of today should not stifle the success of tomorrow and the grief of the moment should not hinder the greatness of tomorrow. Remember, the difficulties of life are intended to make us better not bitter. All we need is a faith that will not shrink when washed in the waters of affliction and adversity. There is hope, therefore do not give up. Remember that many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. Say to yourself everyday “there is hope for me.” WORD OF PRAYER:- Oh heavenly father, help me to always keep my hope alive no matter what comes my way in Jesus’ name, Amen. QUOTE:- When wealth is lost, nothing is lost. When hope is lost, all is lost. Hope you are preparing for the Enthronement Service this morning?
