SUNDAY EVENING UPDATE: There have been no changes to the advisories with most of central Ohio under a Winter Weather Advisory through Monday afternoon. A Freezing Rain Advisory is also in effect for parts of southern Ohio. This is a bit of a complicated forecast and our temperatures will be critical as to what falls tonight and what the impacts are. Based off the latest models and ongoing forecasts... here is what to expect tonight. I have shifted the mix/snow line a little farther to the north based off how quickly temperatures have warmed this afternoon. I do expect temperatures will drop a couple of degrees once the precipitation starts really falling later this evening before climbing once again. Yes, it is very possible the rain/mix line may need to be shifted farther north later tonight but I this is what to expect. My hope is our temperatures in the metro will come up above freezing in time for the morning commute Monday, but it will be a very close call so please allow yourself some extra time, especially if you need to travel very early in the morning. Stay tuned for the latest updates as the situation develops tonight. Due to football, we will not have an evening forecast but I will post a weathercast on our website 10tv this evening. And of course, please join me at 11pm for the latest! -Eric
