SUNDAY. Going to attend the Lodi Church of Christ today. When asked, What do people at the Church of Christ believe? Answer: The Church of Christ teaches the Bible. The missionary-in-residence in Lodi is Ron Downey. He is also the Dean of Ministry Training for Asia. Dan is the Dean of Ministry Training for Africa, and they both work with Tim Burrows at Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas. It is 32 degrees here in Lodi. It was 24 degrees in Mt. Shasta in the early morning yesterday when Dan went out for his morning fast-walk. Then, he walked up the steep trail at the Shasta Lake Caverns and there were many steps, as well. Dan had an allergy sneeze attack right before entering the caverns, but did not have one inside the caves, thank goodness! The echo would have been enormous.
