SUNDAY NUGGET Howdy Buddy. Happy Sunday to you. I believe you had a great time in Church today as did I. To begin with, I like to extend my condolence to every arsenal fan on the remarkable defeat of their team yesterday. Please do remember that, the downfall of a man is not the end of his life. (*smiles*). I am not a football person, but i seldom pay attention to remarkable football events like yesterdays. Losing so heavily on Wengers 1000th game was................(*fill in the gap*) As i was thinking on this, I tried to understand the major factor behind Chelseas victory. Certainly, both teams have great players with world-class coaches. So how did one score 6 goals and the other kept believing God till the final whistle was blown. I think i found the key; I believe that motivation made the difference. Chelsea wasnt motivated by the drive to win, they were driven by the hunger for honour. They didnt see it like just another Chelsea vs. Arsenal classic, they saw an opportunity to gain honour. They wanted to soooo win the game, that even anti-chelsea folks would be constrained to commend them. Even I, who dislikes Chelsea couldnt but applaud them. What they got was beyond victory, they got honour. Now my question to you is, what is your motivation in life? What is your driving force? You see, many people reading this, would stammer on their inside to answer this question because they probably havent even given it a thought. Motivation is crucial to acceleration. How far you will go and how fast you will move depends on what is driving you. Remember what happened when Jesus was with that Samaritan woman by the well? He was hungry and His disciples had gone to buy food for Him. But as He engaged this woman in a discuss about the Kingdom, the hunger disappeared. He said to them...I have food to eat of which you do not know John 4:32....My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work vs. 34 Jesus was driven by His passion for the Kingdom and He refused to allow food (signifying the material) to distract Him. I ask you again, what is your motivation? Is it the desire to be seen? Or the.crave for wealth? Or the quest for impact? Think on these things... And to my dear arsenal fans, apologies for picking on you today. Someone had to be the scape goat (*winks *) Have yourself a wonderful Sunday Oluwatobiloba, 7BC14F59|@kingdomturf
