LESSON OUTLINES 1. JESUS THE COUNSELOR: Jesus came to his world to restore us back to God through his counsels. Jesus is the best counselor. Jesus gives us counsel on various issues and persons in the bible. a. He gave counsel about forgiveness. (Matthew 18:21-22). b. He gave counsel on divorce. (Matthew 19:3-9). c. He gave us counsel on every aspect of life. d. He advised Martha about her disposition to the word of God and in. (John 8:3-11). 2.HIS COUNSELS ARE PREFECT a. The lord’s counsel correlates with his words. (Psalms 33:11) b. The Lord’s counsels remains the best c. Some counsels are evil. (Numbers 13:30-32) d. Some counsels are destructive e.g Ahithophel. (2 Samuel 16:20-22)
