SUNDAY SERVICE: No Christ. No Christmas. Pastor Lawson: For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11 (NKJV) Jesus came to save us from our sins. So the greatest gift that was given, was the gift that Jesus gave when he gave himself. He came to save us from our sins. I like that sin has an s on the end. He came to save us from our past sins, any presents sins, and anything that we may sin in the future. He paid the price. What a gift. Jesus is a gift that lasts forever. Whatever he gives us is eternal. Pastor Phyllis: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15 (NKJV) We celebrate Christmas totally differently. We celebrate what Jesus had come to do. God already had salvation on his mind. He already had deliverance on his mind. He was saying devil this is not the end. Because there is a seed that is coming. You may have changed the nature of man but there is a man who is going to come who will defeat you. Not only will he defeat you. He will come the right way; he is not going to come like a thief like you came. He is going to come through a woman like every other man. He will not break laws. He will be in agreement with my law. The Word was made manifest.
