SUNDAY SERVICE SERMON BY REVEREND EDWARD MWAI BIBLE READINGS: DEUTERONOMY 8:11 TOPIC-DONT FORGET YOUR GOD & HIS LAW (TUSISAHAU MAHALI MUNGU AMETUTOA) A human being is prone to forgetfulness. God wants you to remember Him and His laws. As a man is lifted up, he starts seeking God less & less. This affects all of us. God is faithful in His love and promise. Gods blessing should bring glory to God but not to give way human pride. When you forget where God has brought you from, His blessing won’t last in your life. God told the Israelites not to forsake Him and his laws. When you listen to Him and follow Him, dont fall back to fleshly desires and cravings. You have to look the other way and follow Gods footsteps. God has lifted us from rejection and dismissal by people. Your enemies will come looking for you by the favor of God. God can change anything. All those who have despised you will soon come and sit and work with you. The day is coming. God will fulfill it. Kenya is one of the best countries economically in the region for there is God in Kenya. When the blessings come, we have to be amongst the partakers. Every trial is just a preparation for future maturity. When things are flowing well, the strength of your relationship is low compared to the strength of a challenging relationship built by prayers and humility. Your reward will come due to your faithfulness, holy living and true worship. Be attentive and ready to receive your blessing as you follow the footsteps of God. Kaa macho! Play your part as your heavenly father is rich and that means you are also rich. God is coming. Don’t be proud, be humble. Give God a chance to lift you up. Respect others for them to walk far with you. No matter where you come from, God is lifting you from one glory to another. Declare “I am not hopeless, I have hope. Soon and soon my life is going to change in Jesus Name.” God isnt limited by your age or the many years gone by. He is going to glorify Himself. Don’t despise yourself. Keep your hope alive. Anytime from now, your God will fulfill His Promises. We are going to see great things happening from Jehovah. As we head into September, it being the ninth month; all of our blessings that we have been expecting are coming to birth. All of our blessings will be birthed. No miscarriage. No one can stop the blessings, all powers of witches & magicians are nothing. Any time, the birth will take place and your enemies will see it. Don’t despise yourself at all. God doesnt look at your attributes. God does change things & people. He will relocate you from your neighborhood to a better residence. Say this prayer I have faith in you my Jehovah; I have no one to hold my hand and help me cross to the other side.
