SUNDERBAN OIL SPILL Dear All, A team is working with some international experts who have worked in the BP oil spill to come up with a community led action. It is very important that we understand that ,this is unlike many disasters that the nation has faced and direct action by individual cannot be impulsive. The group shall soon present a website as to how we can get involved: Immediate and longer term. How we can help map the spillage and record information How we can help and work with the community there and their safety What shall you do to keep safe if on ground What shall we not do? Which animals are affected first and who will have affect later? We shall try to add information as and when we can track and trace. There will be a lot of contribution needed both for the flora, fauna and the community there. We often get emotional and take actions which might really have repercussions.
