SUPPLICATION (DUA) IS WORSHIP. 🙏“And your Lord said: Invoke Me.Verily! Those who scorn My worship (invocation) they will surely enter Hell in humiliation! 40:60. 🔸A-Nu’man bin Bashir: Prophet (saw) said DUA is an act of worship (Ibadah)(Abu dawud) 🔹Yes, we must supplicate for the good in this world & the hereafter for ourselves, families, friends & the Ummah. ✅Imam Ahmad & all other great & competent scholars say “The basic principle with regard to all acts of worship is TAWQEEF” i.e. ALL ACTS OF IBADAH INCLUDING (DUA,DHIKR) ARE FORBIDEN UNTIL SANCTIONED BY THE QURAN & AUTHENTHIC HADITH; THERE IS NO ROOM FOR OPINIONS,EMOTIONS & INNOVATIONS. 📛It is not permissible to do any act of worship in terms of TIME or PLACE or TYPE or NUMBER or MANNER of worship except on the basis of “TAWQEEF”. 🎁ON THE OTHER HAND, ALL WORDLY (NON WORSHIP) MATTERS, ARE PERMITTED EXCEPT WHAT THE QURAN & AUTHENTHIC HADEETH PROHIBIT. ☝Since it’s a form of worship, then, Du’a, Dhikr etc. must be directed ABSOLUTELY to Allah without ANY intermediary e.g. (Prophet, Peer, sheikh, saints,the dead).It is immaterial how beautiful, positive, nice, widespread the content is, how pious the sheikh who recommended it is, the content must be according to the recommendations of the Qur’an & authentic Sunna (NOT FABRICATED). ⚠We might have received messages that are insulting to Tawheed as below: ❌“Say this dua 7X & send to 7 people; something good/bad will happen to you & your family”. ❌“Read this or that Surah 3X & send to 5 people to calm the anger of Allah or to Help GAZA”. ❌“A Sheikh in Madinah or India said or dreamt that the prophet asked him to do it.”. ❌“Just forward it, even if you won’t say it or even if you don’t believe it, even if you sent it back to me I don’t mind. ❓One wonders the logic & motive behind this. 🚫Why would you forward what is wrong & what you won’t say? 👺These messages are not only insulting to Islam they are BID’A & SHIRK.They should not be forwarded, be deleted & senders should be educated. 📚For the Quranic & Prophetic way of DUA, buy or download a free copy of “THE FORTRESS OF THE MUSLIM (HISNUL MUSLIM)” from the internet. 🔥🏡Abu Dharr (ra) : Messenger (saw): “There is nothing by means of which one may draw close to Paradise & move far away from Hell but it has been explained to you.
