SUPPLY PLANNING AND PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST Job description Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established in order to achieve Government’s broader economic objectives of ensuring security of fuel supply and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for outstanding, driven individuals to join our exceptional team. • Innovative and highly organised, you will support the organisation by establishing efficient supplier partnerships and overseeing the supply process. • Well versed in procurement policies and procedures, you will manage supply planning and forecasting including stock replenishment planning to ensure continuity in supply. • You will raise and manage system generated fuel supply purchase orders and with a keen eye for detail, reconcile fuel and other product invoices to products received. • This role will demand you to coordinate road and rail transport fuel logistics to ensure prompt delivery of fuel to both depots and customers. • It also requires that you keep abreast of the latest developments and new supply sources, and recommend innovative and creative solutions for the organisation. • You will use your business acumen to identify cost effective business partners that provide quality products and services. • An understanding of margin analysis, price movements and Government pricing structures is therefore essential. Requirements • This role requires you to have at least 3 years’ experience in supplies and procurement with an understanding of tendering process and procedures. • You should also be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies and have a Business Degree. • A Logistics and Supply Management degree will be an added advantage. • Experience in the oil industry with an understanding of price analysis and fuel environment price formulations, influences and variations is key.
