SURPRISE BLESSINGS ARE SOME OF THE BEST BLESSINGS Yesterday, I was out with two of my sons when we decided we wanted to get something to eat. We rode around for nearly 20 min trying to decide what we wanted. Once we decided on a spot, we discovered that they closed early because of it being Christmas Eve. We then decided on another location nearby and they were closed too. We drove a couple of miles away and saw three options. We opted for the place with the least amount of cars in the parking lot. We entered, were seated and ordered our food. Towards the end of the meal, a lady walks up to the table and asks if I produced plays. I responded, Yes. With a huge smile on her face, she thanked me for coming to the restaurant and handed me her card. I was like, Cool, that was nice. When I looked at the card, it indicated that she was the restaurant manager. She then proceeded to tell me that the entire meal was complimentary because of how those plays touched her life. I was stunned because I havent produced anything in a couple of years AND the most recognized ones havent been produced in at least 5 years. After she informed me of this gift, I thanked her and hooked the waiter up with a nice tip (thats a standard for me bc I used to work for tips). I asked my sons what they learned from that moment and these clowns responded that I needed to do more plays so we could get free meals at restaurants.😆😆😆 SMH! They are truly a special breed 😁. For me, it was a blessing because it was a reminder of the power and impact of our words and actions. I have never written a production to bring glory or attention to myself. I simply wanted to share truthful and empowering messages. For it to have been so long since she could have seen a production and for the impression to still be there, was a little nudge, a reminder 😉. Needless to say, I look forward to returning and sharing more productions in 2015. I can assure you that I have no free food motivations🍛🍕🍰🍗🍔🍤🍦🍪🍩😝😆😆😋. I am thankful for that kind gesture and ready for a blessed 2015. #thankful
