SURREY Police is appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious head injuries in Farnham. The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was found in Runwick Lane, Farnham at 5.53pm on Tuesday, September 9 and was later flown to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance. Officers are asking for witnesses to come forward to establish the full facts of the collision they believe led to his injuries. Anyone who saw the cyclist before the incident, or at the point he came off his bicycle, is urged to contact Surrey Police by calling 101, or use the online reporting system at surrey.police.uk/, quoting the reference number P14262451. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
