SURVIVOR SISTA SEGMENT Ladies... Yesterday evening I was pulled to turn around and stand face to face with the reality of a very painful, disappointing, alarming past. Literally, I had to walk the very same halls that I once walked that made me angry and extremely tearful. Each step that I took painted an extremely vivid picture of how it all went down.... Step by step... Situation after situation.! EVERYTHING! As I sat holding back tears and an uncontrollable outburst, I found myself verbally explaining to my children everything that took place. All the while, never realizing that up until the point that I opened my mouth to retell the story, I was still bound by what happened, in my mind, in my heart and especially in my emotions...Yesterdays hurt was held me hostage! So I encourage each of you to... Scream... Shout... Holler...recite the story.... Revisit what happened....but just RELEASE IT! Dont carry the pain of your past another day.... It happened...now its over....I admonish you today to RELEASE IT..... You cant rewrite it.... It happened the way it happened and there is nothing you can do about it.....RELEASE YOUR YOURSELF FROM YOUR YESTERDAY BECAUSE YOUR YESTERDAY HAS RELEASED YOU!!! Be mindful that, every thing that happened....The good....the bad....the ugly .....and the indifferent....is working for your good!!! RELEASE IT AND LET IT WORK FOR YOU!!!
