SUSPECT IN MULTIPLE CASES ARRESTED BY MARIKINA POLICE The Marikina City Police Station arrested Wawey Gibaga y Paghubasan 33 years old, at about 9:20PM on November 8, 2014 at his residence at No. 36 New Gil Fernando Street, Barangay Barangka, Marikina City. The operation is in consonance with the Chief, PNP’s initiative and operations imperatives to hunt down wanted person and notorious criminals in the locality. The suspect has four (4) standing Warrants of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge Geraldine C Fiel-Macaraeg of RTC Branch 192, Marikina City for (1) RAPE under Article 266 par. 1(a) of the Revised Penal Code as amended by RA 8353 in relation to Article 266-B thereof and in further relation to RA 8369 docketed as Criminal Case Nos. 2014-15594-MK and 2014-15598-MK; (2) Serious Illegal Detention under Article 267 par. 1(a) of the RPC in relation to RA 8369 under Criminal Case No. 2014-15595-MK; (3) Attempted Rape docketed as Article 266-A par. 1(a) of the Revised Penal Code docketed as Criminal Case No. 2014-15596-MK; and (4) Acts of Lasciviousness docketed as Sec. 5 par (b) of R.A 7610 in relation to R.A 8369 docketed as Criminal Case No. 2014-15597-MK dated April 21, 2014. The suspect is presently detained at the Marikina City Police Station while awaiting commitment order from the court.
