SUSPECT SOUGHT FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF CAPTURED ON VIDEO (Palm Bay)—Detectives are currently seeking the identity of a suspect captured on a home surveillance camera vandalizing a vehicle. The incident occurred on August 8th at around 9 p.m. at a home on SW Harlingen Rd. According to the victim, he was on the phone inside his garage when he heard a noise in his driveway. When he went to check he found the windshield of his 2006 Chevy was significantly damaged. A review of the video shows a white male approximately in his late teens to early twenties running on to the property. The suspect is seen jumping onto the windshield of the vehicle landing on his backside. The suspect is then seen pushing off the windshield a second time causing it to break. According to the victim it is the second time in the last few months his vehicle had been vandalized. About a month earlier, the victim claims someone threw eggs at the car. “We realize the images are not very good however we are hoping someone can recognize him,” said Officer Natasha Grey. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect seen in the video is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case. ###
