SUSPECTED SAW THIEVES IDENTIFIED BRADFORD - Two people have been arrested following a joint investigation regarding the theft of saws. According to South Simcoe police, members of the departments crime unit began to investigate after a suspicious male was spotted Friday walking out of a bush area on the border of York Region and Bradford. York Regional Police were contacted and both agencies began a joint probe into a possible a break and enter. Four suspects were followed and spotted taking items into a north-end Newmarket motel. Police two men and two women had broken into a business and took chainsaws and quick saws. All of the stolen property was recovered. Two of the suspects have been arrested and held for bail, the other two have been identified and arrest warrants have been issued. The investigation continues.
