SUSTAIN THE PROGRAMMING OF GOOD IN YOU. October 13, 2014, 6:41 PM Λαοδικείας LAODICEA 1,260 [ Κολοσσαείς 4:6 Colossians ] Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. You are to offer them before the LORD, and the priests are to sprinkle salt on them and sacrifice them as a burnt offering to the LORD. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other. Do not let any. unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, [ Αριθμοί 12:1-2 Numbers ] Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, Ask for whatever you want me to give you. Then Solomon awoke--and he realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the Lords covenant and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then he gave a feast for all his court. I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, I had a dream! I had a dream! In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven In my vision I saw myself in the citadel of Susa in the province of Elam; in the vision I was beside the Ulai Canal. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his masters business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, [ 1 Πέτρου 3:10 1 Peter ] For, Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. [ 1 Θεσσαλονικείς 2:17 1 Thessalonians ] But, brothers and sisters, when we were orphaned by being separated from you for a short time (in person, not in thought), out of our intense longing we made every effort to see you. As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this. Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith. [ Εβραίους 6:1 Hebrews ] Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of Gods word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! [ Ιεζεκιήλ 7:1 Ezekiel ] The word of the LORD came to me: And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah --wherever they live.
