SWAG Philippines Inc. in partnership with BusinessCoach Philippines Inc. supported Youth Leadership Summit 2014 invited by the Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Group - NCR, Joint Task Force - NCR, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City Seminar Topic: Youth Entrepreneurship : Make Change Happen Understanding the potential benefits of youth entrepreneurship as a means of improving youth livelihoods to attain economic independence. Effective youth entrepreneurship education prepares young people to be responsible, enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities Among the 6 groups, we choose the top 2 concept which will undergo an in-dept training, a pilot project in helping the young people to pursue independent livelihoods and an increase in self-esteem and happiness. Their products will soon posted on the group page and website. Hence, the Youth Entrepreneurship creates employment opportunities for both the self-employed youth and other young people. This project aim to address some of the socio-psychological problems and delinquency that arise from joblessness. We are looking forward to conduct this type of seminar/workshop along with the actual livelihood training for specific sector/community as per request to chosen areas/beneficiaries
