SWEET ROSIE IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION *** A volunteer writes: Often when returning to the shelter with Rosie, our time together gets extended. Rosie!!!, a staff member calls out...and Rosie looks around, spots him, wiggles her way towards him and sits on his feet while soaking up pets. Its easy to see why he couldnt resist saying hi to her - to meet her is to fall in love with her! Her face is full of expression; she has wrinkles for eyebrows, the slightest mushy jowls, and is always making soft eye contact. She is always very quiet and patient in her cage, but when we lock eyes she does a little tap dance with her front paws. She has good leash manners and is likely housebroken. She arrived quite underweight and not surprisingly, treats definitely make Rosies list of favorite things! However, Rosie is incredibly polite when she takes them and will eagerly sit for more. Her energy level seems ideal - not hyper, but still playful. She loves fetch and will throw the ball towards me or let me take it from her mouth. Above all, Rosie is a lover! She will crawl into my lap, lick my face, and wrap her paws around me in a hug. She is so gentle in her displays of affection....and really in everything she does. She seems like a little lady that hasnt really been taken care of, but that harbors an unequivocal love for people - and I can only imagine how happy she will be when she has one to call her own!
